The Statewide Capacity Collaborative (SCC) invites you to join with other community members to explore how best to build and support nonprofit leadership in our region. This event is part of the SCC’s long term goal to strengthen the statewide nonprofit ecosystem by investing in the human capital of the sector. The SCC operates under the belief that a resilient nonprofit sector is vital to the quality of our communities. This event will bring together people at all levels of leadership (community, emerging, executive, informal, etc.) to explore the unique challenges nonprofit leaders face in our state and sector.
The discussion will use the Open Space conference format—you and others present will set the agenda and topics to discuss, such as:
- How can we strengthen the leadership pipeline in the nonprofit sector?
- How can we attract and retain diverse leaders in the nonprofit sector?
This event is open to anyone who is passionate about nonprofit and community leadership. Emerging leaders, those outside of positional leadership, and those who community members go to for wisdom are especially welcome! Please share this event with your network.
The SCC is committed to decreasing barriers for attendees, please contact Mike Quinn at Mikeq@svpseattle.org 206.451.8123 with any questions. Translation/interpretation services, childcare, and/or transportation assistance are available upon request at least two weeks prior to the event, please contact us if needed.
